Michigan and Massachusetts continue strong growth in May

Several states saw significant cannabis industry growth in May, including Michigan and Massachusetts. The two states continued their strong growth trends seen in past months, a sign that these local markets are consistently expanding.

Concentrates prices go up again

Prior to March 2022, prices for concentrates had been decreasing steadily. The trend reversed that month, and we’ve seen average increases in price in the months since. Prices rose around 0.2% each week, signaling that while it was an increase, buyers are not likely to notice week-over-week changes to their costs.

It’s not getting any easier to sell Edibles in MA

Once again, Edibles and Ingestibles in Massachusetts were the most competitive category across all 7 product categories in LeafLink. They were sold by 72% of brands but represented just 22% of all sales in the state.
